Description

UPDATE: Please note an extension of time has been approved and a revised tender/contract timetable has been set. Bidders can access the revised time table within page 5 of the ITT attached to this notice, alternatively the revised ITT can be accessed via the HCA extranet link detailed within the attachments section of this notice. BIDDERS PLEASE NOTE: A number of additional documents have been uploaded to the extranet. Additional information has been provided that indicates that prior to the expansion of the hospital residential properties were present on site around 1956 / 57 as in the provided desk study. Information from the City of Wolverhampton Council has indicated that some of these properties may of had wells associated with them. There are no formal records of the location of any wells in the vicinity of these properties but records are incomplete. The additional documents that provide information in relation to this have been saved in a sub folder named "revised documents folder" This folder includes a revised specification and a revised pricing document which supersedes the previous documents, bidders MUST ensure these documents are read and completed as part of the tender process.

The Homes & Communities Agency are intending to carry out remedial works to ground to the rear of the former Royal Hospital, Wolverhampton.

The contract will be subject to English law. Tenders and all supporting documents must be priced in GBP and all payments under the contract will be made in GBP.

This procurement and award is subject to the transparency arrangements being adopted by the UK Government. These arrangements include the publication of tender documentation issued by the HCA and the contract between the HCA and supplier.
