Description
Essex County Council is procuring on behalf of Essex Housing Development LLP (EHDLLP), with the resulting contract being between EHDLLP and the successful supplier.
ECC is seeking to optimise its functions in order to deliver new housing and economic growth for the benefit of the area or persons resident or present in its area and has created a housing company, Essex Housing Development LLP (EHDLLP) to carry out these functions on its behalf.
Under a single stage design and build lump sum contract (JCT D&B), the Works consist of the design and construction of 26Nr. dwellings at the former Shernbroke Hostel, Waltham Abbey, Essex, EN9 3JF, together with associated external works (including planting, landscaping and fencing), services, drainage, roads, estate lighting, sewers and offsite works.
