Description

The Catapult requires a two-robot solution that enables testing and validation of capabilities for IOSM functions.
The IOSM facility will sit within a space of 21.6m (length) x 12.3m (wide) x 8m (height) within the Westcott Disruptive Innovation for Space Centre. Additional control rooms and laboratories will be available for preparation, experimentation and other activities.
The system will provide a nationally unique facility with two industrial type robots (one of which is mounted on a travel track) capable of representing equivalent motion in all axis and capable of supporting spacecraft (or scale representations) up to 50kg each.
