Description

TfL is establishing a single contract for the maintenance of TfL's piers on the River Thames, as outlined in this notice. This contract is also the subject of a Contract Notice. The scope of the contract will include: planned preventative maintenance which includes proactive minor capital renewals, cleaning, mechanical and electrical activities, emergency (incident), reactive response and winter maintenance, safety patrols/inspections, health and safety assistance to third parties, minor capital intervention works including any necessary design input, and dredging,
The contact will have an initial term of 4 years and TfL may extend the contract beyond the initial 4-year term for up to 4 further years at its discretion. The scope of this contract is more particularly described in the procurement documents which are available free of charge (details below).
The procurement process is being conducted by TfL (a functional body of the Greater London Authority (GLA)) as a Competitive Procedure with Negotiation under the Public Contracts Regulations 2015.
This contract is part of a suite of contracts/frameworks which TfL wishes to place for works/services (including inspections) relating to various TfL Surface Transport assets.
To express an interest in this tender, economic operators need to complete and submit a response to the Selection Questionnaire (SQ) by the 25 September 2020.
