Description

The University of Essex is seeking tenders for a project that will deliver a new Life Sciences Environment Controlled Containment Greenhouse. This growing facility will include a concrete upstand wall and steel frame glazed structure with associated services inclusive of mechanical, electrical, fire alarm and drainage. There will also be minor works within the existing biological sciences building and external works with regards to tree the protection zone.

The open tender process will consist of 2 question sections, part A and part B. Part A will verify prerequisite issues using PAS91, such as professional accreditations, business and professional standing and financial stability etc and Part B will cover the project specific requirements. All tenderers will be required to submit responses to both Parts A, B and a commercial response.

For this project, we have chosen to use Constructionline, a procurement and supply chain management scheme that collects, assesses and monitors standard company information using the PAS91 set of Prequalification Questions. Please see the tender documents for the level of Constructionline membership and question verification required.
