English Heritage cares for over 400 historic monuments, buildings and sites - from world famous prehistoric sites to grand medieval castles, from Roman forts on the edges of empire to Cold War bunkers. Through these, we bring the story of England to life for over 10 million visitors each year. We are a national charity.
The English Heritage Content Marketing team will award a contract outlined below. This team is an integral part of our wider Marketing Directorate plays an important role in the strategic management and development of our brand positioning and identity and the development of branded content across multiple platforms. We also act as in an advisory capacity to internal clients across the charity base and to external suppliers.
The successful appointed agency will provide a consistent high quality, cost effective delivery of strategic marketing advice, and potentially design work, supported by an experienced and dedicated account team. They will work directly with the Marketing Director, the Head of Content Marketing, the Head of Brand Design and other senior stakeholders.
Strategic Marketing & Brand Agency - Value up to £320,000 for the life of the contract. English Heritage is looking to appoint one strategic marketing and brand agency partner to support the development of its marketing strategy, including its constituent strategic brand elements, across all elements of our commercial visitor attractions business and charitable activity. The winning agency will need to demonstrate a measurable track record in strategic marketing thought and brand development for national consumer organisations. For example this could include discrete projects on our employer brand, or partnership strategy and our cause. Experience of working with senior stakeholders, applying intellectual rigour to ideas and working with research and insight to help shape marketing strategic and brand development is essential, together with the provision of a dedicated strategic and creative team.
