Description

NOTE: This notice was updated on 25 September 2023 for the following reason: Amendment to include notice suitable for SMEs(The Northern Lighthouse Board (NLB) has a corporate and e-commerce website. Both sites are built in the WordPress environment.

The objective of this project is to put in place a support and development contract with an established company with proven expertise in the WordPress web and e-commerce arena. This contract is for a period of 4 years.

The websites are managed by NLB staff who upload content to the sites and process orders on the online shop. Both sites are public facing.

Data Security - is an important part of this contract and Suppliers must hold either Cyber Essentials, Cyber Essentials Plus or ISO27001 certification, to be considered for this quotation.

The selected company will enter into an agreed contract to deliver technical support during 24/7/365 of the NLB website and shop. The contract will include the following requirements.

•Review the existing WordPress NLB website and e-commerce shop and provide a recommendation report
•Quarterly health checks
•Updates as required
•Upgrades as required
•Development work as and when required. Based on a 7 hours day rate (for example, creating a new
area/page from supplied graphics)
•Training as and when required. Based on a 7 hours day rate

A service level agreement will be required to be provided by the Supplier, this must include availability times, response times and policy on resolution times, as part of the agreement NLB are looking for a response time of 4 hours, for critical response.)
