Description
'Medway Council and the Homes and Communities Agency wish to engage a development partner to work in partnership with the two organisations to develop Rochester Riverside in Medway, Kent. Rochester Riverside: flagship 21 ha (52 acre) regeneration opportunity, Adopted Development Brief for the development of up to 1 400 homes, commercial and community uses, substantial frontage to the River Medway, connected directly with the centre of historic Rochester, substantial remediation, site preparation and infrastructure works completed, adjoining new Rochester Station (HS1) opening December 2015. Rochester Riverside is a flagship site at the forefront of brownfield land regeneration in the Thames Gateway. The site offers an opportunity to deliver a mix of quality housing, commercial and community uses in a fantastic riverside setting. Significant public funding has been invested in land assembly, remediation, site preparation and infrastructure works to prepare the site for immediate development. The Council and HCA now seek a partner with the skills, experience, and financial capability to deliver the scheme in its entirety.'
