Description

A contract for vehicle hire that will provide short term hires with an option to provide longer term hire (over 28 days) where there is a business need. The Supplier is to provide the following services to HMLR:
• Delivery and collection to HMLR offices as well as home addresses
• Out of hours delivery and collection
• Vehicles with manual and automatic transmission
• Booking facility for HMLR staff to self book hires directly
• Roadside breakdown and assistance included
• Motor Insurance Database (MID) to be maintained by the vehicle hire company
• Provision of Management Information related to vehicle hires
Typical types of vehicles required:
• Standard passenger cars, light commercial vehicles, minibuses and four-wheel drive cars
• Electric, hybrid or other Ultra Low Emission Vehicles (ULEVs)
