Description

Description of the Site
The site is located off Station Approach. Acol Crescent is located and to the west of the site and Canfield Drive to the north of the site.
The site recently comprised of a social services centre and day nursery and has a number of existing trees. The existing building was a single storey brick-built structure with a flat roof in the centre and a small sloping roof to the day nursery. Hardstanding on site includes parking spaces to the west and north of the buildings. There was a play area located in between the two buildings. London Borough of Hillingdon has demolished the existing structures and the site has been left vacant.
The existing building is surrounded by residential properties to the north (Canfield Drive) with a service road to rear gardens, residential properties to the south (Station Approach) and east (Bourne Court) with garages. To the west of the site there is communal grassland.
Vehicular access to the site is via Canfield Drive access gates.

Description of the Works
Erection of a single 3 storey building, comprising of:
- 19 No. General Needs 1 and 2 Bed unit
- 14 No. Shared Ownership 1 and 2 Bed units
- Incorporating 2 No. fully adapted wheelchair units
- 35 No. parking spaces (including 4 No. disabled spaces) and 2 No. motorcycle spaces
- Associated access roads, footpaths, parking bays as detailed on the drawings, drainage, external lighting, general external works and landscaping
