Description

The NPL Engineering Manufacturing department require a Portable High
Precision CMM machine for the Inspection and calibration of NPL Engineering
and subcontracted manufactured components or assemblies, providing high
accuracy measurements (better than 10 microns), with the ability to measure
complex shapes, and geometric dimensioning and tolerancing measurements.
We require a fully portable and flexible facility that can be used at NPL in the
Engineering workshop, or at a milling/turning machine or in an NPL lab space.
The machine needs to be able to produce inspection reports showing ISO
tolerancing standards.
Software must be compatible with all major CAD files, including but not
exclusively Solidworks and Catia.
