Description

Health Education England are putting out this notice as a PIN (Prior Information Notice) with a view to completing a Direct Award to Genius Within CiC

The case for direct award can be found on the tender portal.

HEE is seeking a provider to provide Training for trainees that require assistance, following dyslexia diagnosis

HEE Yorkshire and Humber believes that it is highly unlikely that any other supplier has proven the track record in providing a mixture of high quality, screening, assessment, employer and placement support and small group education.

Current providers of services to HEE Y&H do not offer free screening and assessments are generic educational assessments and not specific to GP training needs and are screening and assessing for dyslexia only.

Genius Within are a national provider of Neurodiversity assessments and coaching with expertise in assessing, report writing and coaching specifically for GP Trainees and are currently working with two other Deaneries. They have a good understanding of the RCP Exams and the working lives of GP Trainees.

Providing

1) Free neurodiversity screening package
• Screening for the full range of neurodiversity and not just dyslexia.
• A Y&H specific URL link that Y&H trainees use to complete the screening.
• Provision of a report to the trainee immediately upon completing the questionnaire.
• Provision of study skills advice within this report even if a recommendation for further assessment is not made.
• Process for gaining consent for sharing trainee identifiable data
• Provision of a dashboard of assessment outcomes that can be accessed by the GP School neurodiversity lead. With trainee consent for sharing individualised results.

2) Neurodiversity assessments
• Assessments completed within weeks of referral
• Reports sent to trainee
• Process for gaining consent for sharing trainee reports
• Copy of report sent to the Y&H GP School neurodiversity lead
3) Coaching
