Description

Advance planting works to be undertaken in autumn/winter 2019 in order to provide screening and habitat connectivity prior to a future road-widening contract by others. The Contractor is required to procure the plants in accordance with the Drawings, the plant schedule shown on the Drawings, and the Specification. The Contractor is required to arrange and pay for delivery, and to install the plants in accordance with the Drawings and Specification, including any specified materials eg mulch or stakes etc. The contract includes maintenance of the works for 5 years following the initial planting season. The Contractor's maintenance and any remedial action should be carried out in accordance with the Specification. The Contractor is also required to undertake some site clearance, construction of temporary and permanent fencing and gates, and construction of a private access track (Plot 13, Tilery Coverts Track), all in accordance with the Drawings and Specification, all except the private access track to be subject to the same 5 year maintenance period. The private access track (Plot 13, Tilery Coverts Track) will be subject to a defects date 52 weeks after completion of the initial planting works in autumn/winter 2019. This is an NEC3 Short Form Contract
