Description

Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND) - Review

Bury Council is seeking to appoint a provider to undertake a review of the systems and provision supporting children and young people with special educational needs and disabilities (SEND) in Bury. This work is in conjunction with the Bury SEND partnership.

This review covers all children and young people (0 to 25) in the borough who have been identified as having special educational needs and disabilities and not just the subset who have a statement of special educational needs or an Education Health and Care Plan (EHCP).

We are seeking a provider who has extensive knowledge and experience of SEND and has the necessary expertise to meet the specific requirements outlined in the tender specification. We would expect the provider to be able to provide detailed qualitative and quantitative analysis which is Bury specific and evidence based.
