RECEPTIONIST/HELP DESK OPERATIVE
Rate of Pay: Band D £11.02 per hour to worker

Working within our Facilities Management Help Desk
We are seeking a highly motivated, skilled and experienced individual to enhance and support the Facilities Management Helpdesk.
The role will encompass the front facing support and assistance to service delivery of the Facilities Management Operational Team. We are looking for an enthusiastic individual with excellent customer focus and experience to join our key support service. The successful candidate will be able to demonstrate a good understanding or ability when using ICT systems. There is a requirement to be able to produce accurate and time critical documents, spreadsheets, using relevant ICT knowledge and skills.
Being a first contact helpdesk there it is imperative that the successful candidate will be organised, professional and courteous always. The successful candidate will be expected to induct visitors/contractors/VIP's and internal staff and communicate at all levels. An understanding and ability to answer telephones, arrange meetings and manage an electronic room booking process. An understanding of the council's financial procedure and accounting instructions will be required to enable the hire and booking of facilities. Good communication skills are essential, using a variety of mediums including face to face, written, telephone and emails.
