Description

Eiffage Kier Ferrovial Bam (EKFB) are delivering 2 central sections of the HS2 main civils works between South Heath (Great Missenden) and Southam. The works will be split into 5 sections as below:

North Chilterns Area 10km
Aylesbury Area 13km
Calvert Area 10km
Twyford to Greatworth 20km
Greatworth to Southam 25km

The scheme consists of 85 overbridges & 15 Viaducts which will require:
Elastomeric Bearings
Pot Bearings
Spherical Bearings
In Line Rocker Bearings

We will be shortly going out to market for the procurement of the Bridge Bearings for all 5 sections and invite suppliers to complete our expression of interest questionnaire.
Suppliers should take cognisance of the scale of this project and realistically answer the questions regards their capability to carry out the intended scope of works.

Following receipt of the questionnaire, we will create a short list by assessing the size, capabilities and experience of each supplier. Due to the scale of the scheme we may look to award packages to a number of suppliers to ensure demands are met.

Successful suppliers will be invited to tender via the EKFB eSourcing platform Market Dojo. We will be using a balanced scorecard approach. Full details, specifications and programme will then be provided.
