Description

The Berkshire East Specialist Wheelchair Service provides mobility services for people across Berkshire east and South Buckinghamshire that are struggling or are unable to walk because of a long term illness or disability.

The appointed Supplier will provide clinical support and specialist manufactured items and alternative third party solutions as necessary for the assessment and provision of special seating systems. This will include but will not limited to, foam carve, moulded and foam in place systems for the following - adaptive seating systems, bespoke contoured seating systems, base units, associated product accessories such as: spare / replacement parts and covers.

The provision will also involve monthly clinics where new and returning patients will be assessed.

The contract shall be for an initial one year term with a further one year extension possible (1+1= 2) with a start date of 1st April 2018.
