Description

Following a Direct Award process the following business has been awarded , called off , from the CCS management consultancy framework MCF RM6187

Phase 2. Original project brief
Luton Borough Council is looking to engage qualified organisations to quote for the provision of commercial and legal support in the insource of the Council's IT services from Civica. The Council currently has a managed service contract with Civica to provide their IT services. The contract is due to expire in four years' time (2026). Civica has indicated that it will not re-tender for the service as they are planning on exiting the ITO market to focus on their software products. In addition the Council is keen to regain control of its IT services as it wishes to adopt a cloud-based approach, fur-ther support mobile and remote working and improve customer service by improving its digital ser-vice offering. The Council is seeking quotations from suppliers who are able to provide legal and commercial support to improve the Business As Usual (BAU) service as well as develop an exit strategy for the Council to enable a successful end to the contract. The Council is keen to achieve this within 2 years rather than to the end of the current contract. A successful outcome will be an ex-it strategy agreed by both parties, an agreement from Civica to honour their commitments to service provision whilst the exit and transition is executed with no resulting impact on BAU performance
