Luton & Dunstable University Hospital - Medical Examiners Offices Refurbishment, Alterations & Decorations, to Create Office Space

Location - Luton and Dunstable University Hospital, Medical Microbiology, Ground Floor, Block 56

The current building Block 56 - former Medical Microbiology is now only partially used as the main department has now been moved offsite so it is largely unoccupied.
The scope of works is primarily the refurbishment of the several existing rooms to provide office accommodation for the medical examiners.
The works will need to be carried out within the Medical Block Ground Floor area as there is no compound area available. The contractor will be able to use the existing toilet facilities within the building. The contractor will be able to use an unoccupied office as a site office/store.
The Trust is looking to occupy the space at the earliest opportunity and the intention is that works will need to commence hopefully on Monday 21/11/21 and be complete within 4 weeks of the start.
Contractors returning a tender for the project must attend site to obtain a good understanding of the project and restrictions on site.
The contractor is to complete the Appendix A - Pricing schedule document
Please price each room element separately as per the headings below:- Scope of works, Additional Works Needed & Optional Costs. This will allow the final scope of works to be agreed subject to our funding available.
Likewise please arrange a site visit through the Delta Portal for audit trail purposes.)
