Description
Bradford Council is commissioning a new Strategic Breastfeeding Service which will facilitate an improvement in breastfeeding rates, both at initiation and 6 - 8 weeks across the Bradford district. This will contribute towards a reduction in infant mortality and towards improved child health.
The new service will commence delivery from the 1st April 2018 and will work collaboratively and strategically with a wide range of organisations and partners. The service will ensure that there is a high level of senior strategic input into the breastfeeding agenda. This will support the on-going work of making Bradford a Unicef Baby Friendly district.
