Description
The council seeking expressions of interest from experienced partners to provide accommodation and support in Bristol to homeless households. Partners will provide and manage good quality accommodation and provide short term support to people referred into the accommodation to help them recover from homelessness and move on to sustainable housing. Partners will need to be experienced and expert at working with people with a range of needs including mental ill health, substance misuse and psychological trauma. There will be a specific substance misuse accommodation pathway and we are also looking for a resettlement service to help people make their moves out of supported accommodation successful. Providers interested in the supported housing element will need to have access to suitable accommodation, including relevant planning consent. An ability and willingness to work in close partnership with other organisations is essential. Providers are invited to attend a market testing event to meet commissioners and potential partners on 10th February 2017 from 14.00-15.00 at 100 Temple Street, BS1 6AG, room 4S4. Following this event, providers will be expected to indicate whether or not they want to provide the service by midday on 3rd March 2017. This indication will be via a form available on ProContract (https://procontract.due-north.com) which will include a section to evidence the organisation's access to suitable accommodation where relevant.
