Description
Islington Community Safety Partnership is seeking a provider to deliver an Independent Domestic Violence Advocacy and Support Service to survivors of domestic and sexual violence, using a service user centred approach to address the multiple needs of the individuals worked with, including male survivors.
The service:
Provides advocacy and support
Reduces the harm domestic/sexual violence and other forms of VAWG causes to individuals and families
Maximises the immediate and longer term safety of adults and children (including unborn) at risk due to any form of domestic/sexual violence and other forms of VAWG
Enables service users to access a range of protection and support services available to them, appropriate to their needs Advocates on the service user's behalf with statutory and voluntary agencies
Supports and raises local awareness of domestic/sexual violence and other forms of VAWG
Supports the boroughs MARAC (Multi Agency Risk Assessment Conference).
