Description

Leicester City Council invites Tenders for the provision of municipal Funeral Services for the residents of Leicester to offer low cost fixed priced funerals to residents of Leicester.

The requirement is to provide a standard pre-agreed and fixed price funeral service for City residents using Leicester City Council's cemeteries and crematorium. The Authority would then promote this service to help reduce growing levels of funeral poverty in the City.

The Authority wishes to offer a fixed price dignified funeral service to its bereaved residents and will need this to be provided by a Funeral Director with premises within the city of Leicester.
