Description
The University of Derby is looking to form a commercial partnership with a sports physiotherapy provider to be based in the University of Derby Sports Centre, a dedicated space is available and the successful tenderer will be responsible for all fit out requirements of the space.
The contract term will be for 3 years, with the option to extend for a further year. It is envisioned that the cost would be approximately £45,000 for three years with an option for a further year at £15,000 total estimated spend of £60,000 for four years. The contract will be subject to quarterly reviews, from the contract award, which will include performance and quality of the Physio selected. The University will reserve the right to terminate the contract if agreed performance and quality standards are not maintained.
The University will provide a room within the performance hub for the services to be delivered. The provider would also have pre-agreed access to other facilities within the building related to the service delivery to clients.
The University envisage that rent will be paid to the University for the space provided. This may be a base fixed rent with a sliding scale rent based on Sales Income received as a result of being located in the Sports Centre. The rent will include utilities and rates. The University would be looking for a commercial arrangement we encourage proposals from interested partners on alternative commercial offer models to a fixed rental sum. For the purpose of this tender we will be asking for a standard hourly rate for the physiotherapy sessions with a further suggested rate based on a discounted rate for 10 to 15 hours per week for treatment for University athletes (as a preferred 'rental' rate) or your alternative suggested pricing schedule including the rental.
All other expenses and operational running costs shall be borne by the successful tenderer.
