Description

The procurement of Weight Management Services is needed in order to meet Milton Keynes Council's Public Health responsibility for commissioning Tier 2 services for obesity management, under the Health and Social Care Act 2012. The service will focus on reducing health inequalities through identifying and supporting overweight and obese Children, Young People and Adults in Milton Keynes through the provision of comprehensive programmes, addressing improvements in diet and increases in physical activity to support people to achieve and maintain a healthy weight.
