Description
THE DEVELOPMENT OF MULTI PROFESSIONAL CREDENTIAL(S) IN LEARNING DISABILITY AND AUTISM AT ADVANCED PRACTICE LEVEL (CHILDREN, YOUNG PEOPLE AND ADULTS) - Based on the Advanced Clinical Practice Capabilities Framework when working with people who have a learning disability and/or autism (2020).
This tender focusses on the delivery of a high-quality credential(s) for learning disability and autism for children, young people and adults at advanced practice level. Developing and retaining the Advanced Practice workforce is a strategic priority for the NHS. The NHS Long-Term People Plan (LTP) recognises the potential of Advancing Practice meeting short term and long-term workforce demands; whilst the Interim People Plan (IPP) is heavily supportive of scaling up and delivering new roles and models of Advancing Practice. HEE's Advancing Practice Programme will support this agenda by working collaboratively across the health and care system, to develop safe and effective advanced level practitioners who can be relied upon to provide high quality patient care regardless of role or setting. A clinical career pathway and targeted continuing professional development have the potential to support the retention of highly valued and skilled staff and facilitate workforce transformation.
The willingness to work collaboratively with those who hold the Intellectual Property Rights (IPR) for existing relevant capability frameworks is essential.
