Description

The suite of TfL Professional Services Frameworks are TfL's and its Group Companies', Greater London Authority and its functional bodies and all London Boroughs, primary means of accessing engineering, planning and project management support and expertise from the external supply chain. In line with its Commercial Strategy, TfL continues to work within a Category Management approach for replacing the current suite of Frameworks. Fundamental to the success of the programme is ensuring that the intended users have access to the necessary technical and specialist skills and services to meet their requirements. The key strategic objectives of the new suite of Frameworks includes higher quality service provision, reduced costs and greater value for money.

Transport Planning and Impact Monitoring involves the development, evaluation and assessment of evidence-based, multimodal, integrated transport projects and policies with the aim of improving transport services for the general public. The forecasting and monitoring of project and policy impacts is essential to aid decision making. TfL places a significant emphasis on planning activity for integration between different modes of transport and land use as well as maximising sustainability and protection for the environment.

Health, Safety Services and Environmental Services management and support within TfL links to all aspects of the integrated transport network within London. Support and direction is provided to strategic planning, operating, maintenance and capital programme (project) business units associated with Buses, Cycle Hire, DLR, Overground, River Services, Streets, Trams and Underground. The primary aim of the support and direction provided by TfL Health, Safety and Environmental Services is to ensure zero harm to our staff, customers, suppliers and the environment.. The contracting authority reserves the right to award contracts combining the following lots or groups of lots:
