Description
LHC will shortly be inviting economic operators to tender for a new framework for the supply and installation of high quality windows and external doorsets, currently offered under separate frameworks (TW3, U9, A6 & C7), suitable for use in public sector housing and non-housing buildings throughout England, Wales and Scotland on a regionalised basis. The framework will be tendered under three contract notices, in England, in Scotland on behalf of the Scottish Procurement Alliance, and in Wales on behalf of the Welsh Procurement Alliance.The framework is to be tendered under four workstreams. Products to be offered will mainly comprise but are not limited to Sliding projecting casements, Tilt before turn, Top hung fully reversible, Vertically sliding, Horizontal pivot & Hinged residential doorsets. The performance requirements will be, as a minimum, to the current Building Regulations applicable to the country being serviced, the British/European Standards applicable to the material being offered and should be able to offer the enhanced security requirements under PAS 24 and Secured by Design, full details of which will be within the tender documents. All interested companies will be required to demonstrate capability of undertaking refurbishment and new-build projects within the public sector and within each Lot for which applied.
