Description
Civic Cleaning has responsibility for the provision of cleaning services to Birmingham City Council (BCC) Non-Educational Buildings and some external companies. These buildings range in size from large administrative hubs with in excess of 2000 occupants to small local libraries.
The service also operates a range of other cleaning disciplines including mobile cleaning, home cleans and a specialist retail markets team. The portfolio may expand or contract over the duration of the contract, this may also impact our equipment needs.
To deliver this service a diverse range of cleaning equipment is utilised ranging from rechargeable carpet sweepers to commercial scrubber dryers.
Birmingham City Council Civic Cleaning requires a supplier for the provision of cleaning equipment/hardware. The requirement is for a 3 year lease contract (fixed cost).
The contract will be for a period of 3 Years commencing 01 05 2020 until 31 04 2023. The contract will be reviewed on an annual basis to review previous performance and the ability of the supplier to supply and maintain the equipment as specified within the contract.
