Brief description:

Manifoldia Grange is an Extra Care facility providing planned care and support to individuals living in their own homes. The scheme comprises of 38 self-contained flats and provides a person-centred care service to each tenant dependent on their individually assessed needs. As well as the care and support aspect of the service we also provide social opportunities and community engagement within the communal areas of the scheme.
We currently have a vacancy for a care assistant (20hr) to join our team to support and promote the values of this service. We are looking for enthusiastic individuals who possess an understanding of the principles of person centred care services and who can carry out this role, promoting autonomy and upholding the rights of the individual.
You will require:
• At least two years' experience of working with older individuals with disabilities, learning disabilities or mental health issues.
• A current certificate in the handling and administration of medication.
• A good level of written and verbal communication
• Willingness to undertake related training.
• The ability to work a varied shift-based rota pattern including mornings, evenings and weekends including bank holidays.
This role falls inside of IR35
This role also requires an Enhanced Barring Adults DBS check.
This role also requires the worker to enter a CQC regulated setting, therefore proof of the Covid 19 Vaccine will be required.
