The Global Better Health Programme will deliver health outcomes through five pillars (areas) of activity in each of the 8 countries. The activities represent the best match between partner country priorities, potential for development impact and potential secondary benefit, including for the UK. The five pillars are:

- Pillar 2: Digital Health initiatives
- Pillar 3: Education and Training
- Pillar 4: Provider Performance Improvement
- Pillar 5: Life Sciences initiatives
