Description

The current HM Coastguard ICCS and Vision managed service contracts with Capita are due to end on 31 December 2020. In order to ensure that HM Coastguard continues to have technical support for its command and control and incident management systems, a newmanaged services contract is required for ICCS and Vision for the period 1 January 2021 to end 31 December 2023. Note that all the existing Capita contracts will terminate 31 December 2020 and be replaced by a single managed service contract going forward.For the avoidance of doubt, this new contract will cover support and maintenance for all Capita Vision 4, Vision 5, MAIT, ICCS and Disaster Recovery Suite (at Spring Place) components.In order to sustain the HM Coastguard command and control and incident management capabilities until they can be transformed by the Blue Light Technical Transformation Programme, a managed support service needs to be in place for ICCS and Vision for the period until the end of 2023. The current incumbent managed service provider for ICCS and Vision is Capita, and the intention is to draw up a new contract with them that includes improved SLAs for this period.
