Description

This tender is for the design and build of a 'Bogtastic' Van, and static interpretation at specific sites in the Peak District and South Pennines (Bogtastic Installations). The work is divided into two separate packages which can be tendered for individually or together. Please read through the following documents for more information.

The aim of the Contract is to provide inspiration to people from all walks of life to understand, enjoy, and want to protect the unique habitat of blanket bog. It will be engaging and lively, bringing blanket bog to life by creating an immersive experience.

The Bogtastic Van and Bogtastic Installations will:
• Increase understanding and value of the blanket bog habitat to local communities, especially people in towns and cities across the Peak District and South Pennines
• Increase awareness of the fragility of blanket bog
• Increase awareness of the ecosystem services that blanket bog provides
• Help people understand what they can do to protect blanket bog
