Description

We are now issuing an invitation to seek one Book Packager to work collaboratively with British Council to produce the Catalogue for the British Pavilion architectural commission in 2020.

La Biennale di Venezia is one of the most prestigious cultural institutions in the world. Established in 1895, it receives over 500,000 visitors at the Art Biennale and more than 250,000 to the Architecture Biennale. The Biennale takes place in two official sites in Venice: the Arsenale, which hosts the international exhibition, and the Giardini di Castello in the east of the city, which houses the national pavilions including the British Pavilion. The British Council manages the British Pavilion and its exhibition programme.

The British Council has published exhibition catalogues for previous British Pavilion commissions and worked with publishers on specific catalogues for both the Art and Architecture Biennale.
