Description

The contract is for the supply of goods, predominantly distributed via the The Joint Operations Unit - Public Order Department for issue to Hampshire Constabulary Officers.

The award was made via a National framework agreement available to Police Forces established via YPO for the supply of Control and Restraint Equipment. The framework consists of 13 lots including Batons, Handcuffs, Gloves, Flame Retardant Wear, Helmets, Shields, Guards and Road Policing Equipment.

Thames Valley Police on behalf of twenty (20) Forces including Hampshire Constabulary ran a mini competition. The awards were made to single suppliers and this contract relates to a direct award call off via LOT 4 Flame retardant wear.
