Description

Bedford Borough Council ('the Council') has received government funding to deliver the Holiday Activities and Food Programme (HAF) for children and young people in the Borough who are aged 5-17, are a resident of Bedford Borough and who are eligible for Income Related Free School Meals (FSM). The HAF programme will also be accessible for Looked after Children (LAC) and children of families that have no recourse to public funding within Bedford Borough.

The Council wishes to commission interested local organisations to join a Pseudo Dynamic Purchasing System (ps-DPS) which will aim to deliver a programme of face-to-face activities and healthy meals for vulnerable children during school holidays over the next three (3) years between 21/06/2022 - 31/07/2025.

Suppliers wishing to be accepted onto the ps-DPS should be experienced in delivering face-to-face, fun, enriching activities to children and young people. It would be helpful for Suppliers to have existing provision in place that can be expanded upon to deliver against the outcomes specified (Lot 1), but the Council will consider proposals of bespoke schemes if these meet the required HAF Programme requirements (Lot 2).
