Description

The University of Central Lancashire are considering procuring on a three year contract a Programme Language Package. This is a call for Expressions of Interest.
Please only respond to the contact details in this notice if you have a product that meets the following criteria:
An ability to allow users to use and save user defined machine code to perform computational analysis
In built suite of pre-defined functions to perform numerical and operational tasks
An ability for a user to write their own functions to perform well defined tasks
Graphical outputs, editable and saveable for use with publishing
Systems modelling using defined graphical function blocks including mathematics, operations, control and visualisation tasks
Collections of physics based function blocks representing pre defined systems, such as electrical machines, power systems, electronic systems, heat systems etc
In-built tutorials for users to conduct self paced learning on subjects relevant to engineering
Industry recognised certification for completion of short tutorial based courses
Ability to operate software in the cloud and remove need for an installed copy specific to a pc
Assistance to tutors to create tutorial and assessment problems for learners to access and receive feedback
Learners must have access to their own licensed version for free download to their own pc in addition to use of campus PCs serviced by LIS
Allow interaction with CAD software such as Solidworks and ANSYS to provide iterative computational solutions, expanding the capability of CAD
An ability to interface with external hardware and instruments to allow real world data collection and device control
An ability to interface with external hardware and instruments to allow real world data analysis and device control
Compatability with MATLAB or translator from legacy MATLAB code
