Description
University of Chester is seeking tenders for a full, flexible digital microscope system to include necessary optics, associated computing and software requirements. In addition, this tender must include a minimum of 2 years full support and maintenance for the system.
The Innovation to Commercialisation (I2C) project is funded by the European Regional Development Fund (Project Ref: 03R16P00976).
The system is to be used by a range of staff, both internal and external to the University and as such, must be robust and easy to operate (both in operation and software). Furthermore, the system must also be flexible to afford use in a wide range of situations including electronic board and system inspection and analysis, materials analysis, surface condition analysis and mechanical inspection. Finally, as many analyses will require documenting and review, the system must afford image capture and storage and automated parameter measurement.
