Description

Radioactive Waste Management requires a Contractor to provide an Independent Facilitation for the support and implementation of its engagement with the community. The role of an independent facilitator is to ensure that the discussions progress in a constructive and informative manner. The role of facilitation will be crucial to the success of Working Groups in designing and delivering the engagement with communities; ask relevant questions and directing conversation to cover the points of interest from the interested parties in the siting process and other members of the community. Facilitators will possess strong inter-personal and influencing skills, ideally with a comprehensive understanding of working at a community level. The facilitator will bring 'process' expertise in advising parties on how to proceed and then using appropriate structures, frameworks, methods and techniques to enable the work to be progressed effectively.
