Lancaster University is inviting tenders on the terms set out in this ITT for the supply, delivery, siting, and commissioning of 2 Walk In Controlled Environment Plant Growth Rooms. We seek rooms capable of delivering high spectral quality, uniform plant growth lighting at high intensity. One of these rooms must be able to house specialist phenotyping equipment supplied by others. Phenotyping equipment will be tendered separately and will consist of a gantry-based imaging system and floor mounted lysimeters. To ensure compatibility, the Plant Growth Room supplier will be expected to interact with the gantry design process. The chambers will be used for a variety of plant species and must allow flexibility in delivery and control of light, temperature, and relative humidity. The ability to log and interrogate/download controller data should be available.

The budget for this project is £557,000 gross.

Please note that the University is closed from 5pm 22nd December until 9am 2nd January. Any correspondence received between these dates will be responded to when the University reopens in 2024. Please ensure that any clarifications are sent with ample time for the University to respond before the deadline.
