Description

Dounreay Site Restoration Limited (DSRL) is seeking to establish a number of Framework Agreements to provide minor design services utilising the following lotting strategy:

• Lot 1 - Civils, Structural & Architectural (CS&A) Design Services,
• Lot 2 - Electrical, Control & Instrumentation (EC&I) Design Services,
• Lot 3 - Mechanical Design Services.

It is proposed that a maximum of three suitably qualified and experienced Consultants shall be awarded Framework Agreements for each of the above Lots. The duration of the Framework Agreements shall be 2 years commencing October 2017 through to September 2019. The estimated cumulative value of contracts that may be award through these Frameworks is £1M to £2M.

The scope of services for the Framework Agreements for Lots 1 - 3 includes, but is not limited to, the following:

• Preparation of design and engineering work packs; provision of design and draughting services using Computer Aided Design (CAD) packages; preparation of engineering specifications, including Bills of Materials (BoM's);
• Provision of designer's risk assessment in accordance with relevant legislation;
• Retrieval of design, engineering and technical information; including surveys of plant, facilities and services; provision of data acquisition and measuring devices;
• Provision of quality printing and duplication facilities (Including A0 size drawings); provision of electronic data submission and transfer systems (Including compatibility of software systems);
• Provision of suitably qualified and experienced drafting personnel;
• Availability, at short notice (in some instances, less than 24 hours' notice), to provide suitably qualified and experienced personnel to:

o Undertake site measures;
o Update DSRL drawings in AUTOCAD;
o Attend Project Meetings.

The Employer is seeking a cost effective and efficient delivery of the services that will be tendered in small Package Orders on an ad hoc basis.
