Description
Sedgemoor District Council are the Statutory and Competent Harbour Authority for the Port of Bridgwater, a tidal port with only NABSA berths, located approx. 4 nautical miles east of Hinkley Point Power Station and approx. 20 nautical miles south west of Bristol Port. The Authority operate an all year round pilotage service using a single dedicated pilot boat. In order to take the pilotage service forward, the intention is to replace the current vessel in 2019. Therefore Sedgemoor District Council wishes to procure a new pilot boat and invites tenders from suitably experienced and qualified boat builders to provide a boat which meets the requirements described in the Specification
