Description

The National Physical Laboratory [NPL] requirement is to purchase a manual probe station for probing active and passive components operating from millimetre-wave frequencies through terahertz.

Our current probe station is not able to provide the placement accuracy required at these very high frequencies. It also does not provide sufficient protection for the fragile probes, resulting in the need of regular repair/maintenance of these probes (at considerable cost). Therefore, we require a probe station dedicated to high frequency on-wafer measurements.
