Description

WP3536 Settlement and Integration Services for Migrant Communities
Walsall Metropolitan Borough Council are seeking to contract with a single provider with the expertise to deliver a Settlement and Integration Service that provides OISC casework advice and support to asylum seekers, refugees, migrants and mainstream agencies working with these groups.
The core elements of the service are to provide crisis support for individuals and families. To help coordinate integrated working between organisations, across the voluntary and statutory sector, to include shared knowledge and understanding regarding new communities; i.e. rights, entitlements and the systems linked to immigration. The services will help to build individual resilience, optimising settlement and social and economic well-being.
The procurement process is an Open Tender Process for health and social care contracts. The council is free to establish a procedure, provided that, the procedure is sufficient to ensure compliance with the principles of transparency and equal treatment of economic operators (suppliers).
All Providers that satisfy all the minimum requirements of the standard selection questionnaire (ITTD SSQ Parts 1-3) and due diligence process shall be selected for evaluation against the criteria detailed in ITTC.
The contract is for 12 months and is expected to commence in October 2019. The maximum value of the contract over the 12 months is £160,317. The contract may be extended for up to 12 months but this will be subject to additional funding becoming available.
Potential providers are advised that TUPE will not apply to this service contract.
