Description

St. Peters demolition and removal from site of School Buildings, Fox Crescent, Chelmsford.

The works comprise the demolition down to, and including, ground slab, foundations, drainage and services of a number of buildings and hardstandings. The work is subject to the following ecological constrainst -Roosting bats, Nesting birds.

Generally the works shall comprise:
- Asbestos removal
- Disconnecting services/protecting remaining services
- Demolition of all buildings down to, and including, ground slabs and foundations. NB. Two sections of Building F are to be retained.
- Removal and disposal of all demolition arisings and rubbish from site, to suitable licenced tips.
- Break out and removal of existing drainage and services.
- Breakout of access roads/hardstanding and removal.
- The metal railings and gates to the front of the site and perimeter fence are to be retained.
- Removal of all plant and equipment, furniture and fittings within the buildings.
- Making the whole are safe and leaving site level and secure on completion.
