Description
South Derbyshire District Council is seeking a provider to deliver a seamless response to people affected by domestic abuse that approach the Council for support.
The service will be made up of the following four complimentary component parts:
Community-based (floating) and outreach support
The delivery of face-to-face support in a client's home, where not continuing to live with a perpetrator deemed as high risk[1], or an alternative place of their choosing.
The provision of coordinated outreach sessions at key community venues to deliver a proactive service for hard-to-reach clients living in rural communities.
In addition, the delivery of a confidence building programme, through either individual counselling or an accredited group programme, to facilitate lasting recovery.
Accommodation with support
The provision of safe, secure, accessible, and fully furnished self-contained accommodation within the District that will flex and adapt to meet the changing needs of the contract over the Term, alongside the provision of tenancy management and tenancy sustainment support.
Flexible funding
The management and administration of a small grant fund of £5,000 per annum to use towards achieving and maintaining safe and secure housing for victims/survivors.
Sanctuary scheme/target hardening
The management and administration of grant funding of £10,000 per annum to provide enhanced security measures to households at risk of domestic abuse who wish to remain living in their existing home.
