Description

Barnsley Metropolitan Borough Council (the Council) is looking to establish a Contract for Engineering and Construction work with a Provider for undertaking proactive maintenance on the Highgate Railway Bridge. The works required are to; - Repair the existing concrete bridge structure which will remain - Removal and replacement of the bearings of the bridge - Cleaning of the bridge - Removal and replacement of the bridge deck expansion joints - Provision of suitable temporary support system along with temporary scaffolding to support the works.
