Description

The University has a diverse property portfolio ranging in age, some of which contain asbestos products and as such is responsible for managing those asbestos containing materials. The University have over 40 properties within its portfolio which were constructed prior to the 1999 ban on the use of asbestos in the UK. The University is looking to appoint up to four licensed asbestos removal contractors on a framework agreement basis to provide asbestos abatement works in compliance with HSE guidance documents such as HSG 247 \"The Licensed Contractor's Guide\", and the Control of Asbestos Regulations 2012. All companies appointed to the framework will be utilised to undertake works as per the specified services.
