Description

Quotations are sought from suitably experienced and qualified providers to develop an "economic evaluation of mental health models in primary care in London". The output from this work will assist to inform NHS commissioners in North West London of the relative health and economic effectiveness of various health models currently in place to deliver mental health services within the primary care setting.
This time-limited support will engage with key stakeholders and analyse mental health service data to co-produce a theory of change for Primary Care Mental Health (PCMH) models. This will then be used by the provider to develop an Economic Evaluation Model to then evaluate five models selected by the Contracting Authority. The formative approach will facilitate learning and improvement throughout the process and will result in presentations of the outcomes and findings to the London Mental Health Transformation Board.
It is intended that a contract is awarded by early January 2018 to enable a contract to commence mid-January 2018. The service will progress to deliver the intended outputs by the end of April and through May 2018(actual timeline to be agreed between the Contracting Authority and the successful provider).
The contract value is anticipated to be circa £90,000 including VAT, with the actual value to be determined through this procurement process. Payment will be on completion of three key deliverables: development of the economic evaluation model; evaluation of the five PCMH models; and delivery of the final report and presentation.
This support will assist key outcomes prioritised by the Healthy London Partnership and NHS London Clinical Networks. NHS Central London CCG will act as Contracting Authority, being the body that will enter into a contract with the successful bidder.
