Description

This is a Contract Award Notice. West Berkshire Council invited tenders from suitably qualified and experienced organisations to deliver a drug and alcohol service provision into a whole-systems approach in line with the Public Health and Wellbeing`s vision for the West Berkshire Alcohol and Drug Recovery Service. The new service will include all aspects of alcohol and drug interventions ranging from needle exchange, harm reduction, early interventions, engagement and treatment including referral to residential detoxification and rehabilitation. In addition, the organisation will be responsible for procuring a selection of Needle Exchange Equipment to be dispensed from the main delivery site and a selected number of pharmacies.
